Art Uncovered
Join us for Art Uncovered on the 2nd Thursday each month from 5-6pm in the Smart Room.
Art Uncovered is a family-friendly program designed for kids ages 6–11 (and their younger siblings!) to explore new art styles and techniques through fun, monthly themes. Each month, dive into a fresh theme inspired by art styles such as pop art, collage, mosaic, surrealism, nature-inspired design, and more.
Kids can move through the stations at their own pace:
Experiment with the monthly theme at the Inspiration Station
Add to our collaborative art quilt wall, designed around each month’s art style
Create your own story at the comic station, featuring fresh prompts and ideas
Little ones are welcome, too! We’ve included age-appropriate materials like coloring sheets, simple activities, and sensory items to keep them engaged while older siblings create.

STEM Stations

Woodland Wonders
Woodland Wonders runs on the second Saturday of each month from January through March at 1 pm. The series explores different aspects of forest ecosystems: Session One focuses on tree identification, forest structure, and woodland animals, with participants receiving a White Pine sapling to take home. Session Two delves into the forest floor ecosystem, examining fungi, ferns, decomposers, and includes hands-on activities with pill bugs. The final session concentrates on forest sustainability, teaching participants about citizen science and invasive species identification through interactive games, while also including creative activities like making nature journals and handmade paper.
